The photographs will be unlike any others - they will be moody and evocative, technically rigorous, compositionally breathtaking, and (most importantly of all), unique to your story and vision.

Featured Wedding

Dylan and Masha exchanged vows in a small but gorgeous wedding in the former Czech Consulate at the edge of Shaughnessy, Vancouver. Natural light was used to its full advantage in showcasing the beauty of the home and the guests.

The Salton Sea, in Southern California, was once a resort destination for the rich and famous, but now it is an ecological disaster, abandoned and neglected. However, hope lies within the remnants of man’s abandonment and nature’s efforts to reclaim her land. There is a beauty that lies beneath the death and decay of this desert sea's landscape. This region is important not only to the people that still live there, but also to the large avian population that depend on the sea. It is worth preserving.

This series is a winner in the 2007 B&W Magazine Single Image Contest, 2007 London Photographic Awards, and the 2007 International Photography Awards.

Featured Event

For one week at the end of summer, an empty desert becomes the third largest city in Nevada. From dust arise a civilization which will turn back into dust. It is in life as it is in art, the only constant is transience.

Muay Thai, also known as the Art of the Eight Limbs, is ingrained in Thai Culture: it is played on every television set, taught in every city and village, and remains the salvation of those who have no other means of livelihood. These images are a glimpse into a life of discipline and sacrifice that is incomprehensible to most of us.

Fighters are trained at an early age under a regimen so brutal that their bodies are rarely able to sustain careers past their twenties, yet despite what this life demands of them, fighters continue to do so for survival on the most basic of levels. They do it for the body, which is to be fed and sheltered; and they do it for the spirit, which is to be noticed and adored, the attainment of their dreams and desires.

Featured Assignment

Bass Coast is a local boutique festival and market. My assignment is to reinforce the current branding of intimacy of the people and the art. This series highlights key differences between this and other festivals by showing the grace and magic of singular moments that truly sets them apart.

Featured Non-Profit

Working with non-profits is a wonderful experience, be it for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, or Greenpeace, or the Vancouver Pride Society.

I am pleased to announce that I am Vancouver Pride Society’s official photographer and have covered a wide range of events including festivals, micro-weddings, and parades. I have been entrusted with taking beautiful and iconic images with discretion and delicacy and I do so with honour and pride.

As children, we had visions of what life outside our own could be like, and sometimes, the places we come across jar our memories of the dreams we had when we were young and still have yet to see the world as it is today.
